We meet on Monday nights at The Lyppard Hub, from 19:30 to 21:30. Visitors and prospective members are always welcome. Launch night is Monday 2nd March 2026.

Club Statement

Warndon Chess Club is a welcoming and inclusive community for players of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to experienced competitors. We support learning and improvement through coaching, friendly matches, internal competitions, and league play, while promoting strategic thinking, concentration, and good sportsmanship.

By encouraging both new and established players, the club helps build confidence, problem-solving skills, and a lifelong appreciation of chess. Above all, our goal is to grow a strong local chess community where learning, competition, and enjoyment go hand in hand.
